Japan just banned drinking in public because of one reason …. Lets explore why 

Alright, first up, Shibuya Ward in Tokyo has just announced a year-round ban on street drinking at night in certain areas, starting this October. Yeah, you heard that right, all year round.

So, here’s the deal. The local assembly in Shibuya has unanimously passed a revised ordinance that will prohibit drinking on the streets from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. every day. This is a big expansion on the current restrictions which only applied during high-traffic periods like Halloween and New Year's. The exact hours and locations where this will be enforced are still being hammered out, but the ban is definitely coming….
